our work for Edinburgh Leisure
Getting ready for opening
The Commonwealth Pool in Edinburgh holds fond memories for us all, from learning how to swim to jumping off the high diving board and hosting two Commonwealth games, we all have fond memories of growing up and having fun at this iconic Edinburgh landmark.
Fenton Bespoke is involved with ongoing works at the Commie, playing a vital role by ensuring Edinburgh Leisure has one of its main facilities ready for re-opening to the public in September, with appropriate Covid-19 measures in place.
The a-listed building calls for particular attention to detail and care to maintain its original characteristics with the delicate balance of ensuring the safety of staff, swimmers and gym users.
Paul Gallagher, Director at Fenton Bespoke said; “I am delighted we are contracted to such a high profile refurbishment in Edinburgh, an important building and facility at the heart of the community, central to the health and wellbeing of the public.
“We are looking forward to see the work complete and the pool being used once more, in a safe environment for our children and adults using the pool and gym facilities.”
